I have a prophetic revelation that I would like to share with you about the human heart. This prophetic blog post will be very detailed on how the Holy Spirit sometimes deals with me when it comes to receiving prophetic words/messages. If you believe in Christ and reside here in the United States of America, this blog post series will edify, exhort, and comfort you. In addition, it will also help those who have a prophetic call as well.
About two weeks ago, I was on my back porch, doing my usual writing on my laptop, when suddenly I got extreme chest pain. I started to take a few deep breaths, thinking that would alleviate the pain, but it did not. I then started to move my right arm around in a circular motion, trying to check for any pain. I have read somewhere online that pain in one of the arms can be a heart attack symptom. But there was no pain in either one of my arms. At this point, I got up and went into my dining room area, where my two children were, and I began to talk to them without initially telling them what I was feeling. After about a minute of standing in the house, the pain disappeared. I just checked it off as maybe gas or something.
The next day, a close family member of mine was hospitalized for a few days because she had chest pain, which ultimately revealed an issue with her heart that caused her blood to flow backward into her heart. Hearing this diagnosis sparked my attention to remember that I had those chest pains just a day earlier, and now hearing this diagnosis for her was a moment that made me go hmmm. It was one of those moments where I began to ask the Lord if He was trying to speak something to me concerning the heart.
Usually, the Holy Spirit will just come right out and speak the word of the Lord, but this time, He did not move that way. So, I searched the scripture to see what the Lord was saying. I did a word search on the word heart. I discovered that the word heart is mentioned 836 times in the Bible, and the word hearts is mentioned 113 times. I was blown away when I saw that the word Heart(s) is mentioned altogether 949 times in scripture. This search led me to look up a few other words to see how often they are mentioned in the Bible as well.

Honestly, I was shocked that the word heart(s) was mentioned more than the word spirit. I was okay with that newfound discovery, thinking it was for personal reflection until, over the next several days, it was like the word heart(s) was jumping off the pages of the Bible as I was reading the scripture during my devotional time. Suddenly, I could see the heart was of a significant care for God. Anytime someone talks about something a lot, we can see that it is a major concern for them. God cares about the state of the human heart, both individually and collectively.
Since this discovery, I also got news of someone connected to my Prayer Ministry who is experiencing issues with their heart and another individual connected to a Kingdom Marketplace training I am a part of. I began to observe what I would call a prophetic sign pattern. So, with great confirmation, I am writing this prophetic blog post.
This is how the Holy Spirit impressed on me the prophetic message Heart Check for The Church, AKA The Bride of Christ, or The Body of Christ here in America. I usually do not share with the general public the background of how the Holy Spirit begins to deal with me concerning the messages that He wants me to release. But because I know that there are many people to whom God may be trying to communicate a prophetic message, who may not know how to or understand how to go about releasing the word of the Lord. I feel it's necessary. As a Prophetic Mentor, it's important to occasionally share or give insight about that portion as the Holy Spirit leads.
THE HEART DEFINED
The Natural Heart: "A fist-sized organ that pumps blood throughout your body. It's the primary organ of your circulatory system." - my.clevelandclinic.org
We all know we have a human heart. But did you know we have a spiritual heart, too?
Spiritual Heart: "The seat of human emotion, affections, desire, love, and feelings of all kinds. The heart is the origination or center of true thoughts, ideas, desires, and the human will...." - The Prophet's Dictionary.
After reading the definition of the spiritual heart, I'm sure you can understand why Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life."- NKJV. The NLT says, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”
I am sure we can all admit to having some issues. I mean, I know that I do. Being a child of God doesn't exempt us from having issues; it just means that we should be ready to be delivered from them once we become aware….. AMEN! Several things can be deemed as "issues" for an individual. The individual issues make up the collective issue. Which is why you will hear me reference the heart of the church. I will share what the Lord revealed is the primary heart issue in the body of Christ in America. That issue is idolatry. That issue is on God's heart. And to be quite honest its probably a global issue. God’s human and angelic beings have had this idolatrous battle for thousands of years.
We know that idolatry is the worship of another god, aka an idol. An idol can be a physical image or a psychological image. This image can be objects, people, places, accomplishments, achievements, substances, etc. An idol is anything that you love more than God. Or better yet, anything that you love like it was God. Even if that "anything" is yourself." it is still idolatry.
It's hard to love the Lord with all your heart when other things are competing for that spot in your heart. Your heart also symbolizes the alter of your body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. As I delve deeper into this prophetic message Heart Check, I am reminded of my responsibility as God's prophet to remind you of what Jesus said in Matthew 22 37-40, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."
As I share these insights and revelations this season, I hope they resonate with your spirit. It is evident that God cares deeply about the state of our hearts, which is a message He emphasizes in this season. We live in a nation where distractions and idols can easily replace our love for God, but we must heed the call to guard our hearts diligently, for the issues of life flow from it.
In the coming parts of this series, we will explore further the issue of idolatry and its impact on the American Bride, aka The American Church. I pray this message will serve as a wake-up call, encouraging us to examine our hearts and align them with God's desires. May the Holy Spirit guide us in this journey of self-discovery and transformation. Let us keep our hearts open to His leading and be receptive to the changes He desires to make within us.
There is hope and a promise from God!
"And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart."
