We need to have a real talk about something that’s been heavy on my heart: the distortion and over-glorification of “kingdom marriages.” On October 17, 2024 the Lord placed a strong prophetic word in my spirit to share with you all. It's straightforward and direct concerning kingdom marriage deception. If you are a prophet or someone who has been believing God for you kingdom spouse continue reading.
Prophetic Word:
Prophetic Warning: Kingdom Spouse/Marriage Deception.
Prophesy against the prophets who have built their ministries off of ”kingdom marriages”. They prophesy in my name for selfish gain. For I have not sent them.
Stop leading my daughters astray with false promises and persuasive speech. Calling many of them to Hope in what will never be.
You cause my daughters to live a life of idolatry. The idol of man, the idol of marriage, and the idol of being a wife.
Wo to you because you turn my people away, causing them to stray.
Prophets why do you prophesy in the name of the idol on the hearts of my people? I charge you guilty. You are hunting the souls of my people with your deceptive merchandise. When they buy they come in agreement with the lie.
A seducing and lying spirit has deceived you. But it’s not too late for you to repent, Prophets who lead my daughters astray and have caused them to walk another way. Turn from your wicked ways this day.
Point my people to me, point my people to me. Point them to me. Not Man, not yourself, not marriage.
Repent prophets, repent prophets before I tear your influence down. Repent.
No more, manipulating no more divining. Repen for turning my daughters away. This is a warning from me, says the Lord.
Now to my daughters, turn your heart to me, not to what you want from me. Don’t you see that life is more than being a wife?
Why have you turned from me? Your prayers and meditation are filled with this request. Your kingdom spouse?
This prayer has been filled with the wrong motives. You have been treading the lines of witchcraft, manipulation, and control.
Oh how I desire that you love me for me, not just for the man you want from me. Oh if my daughters would seek intimacy with me the way they search for words to confirm their delusion.
Oh, I desire that you search for me the way that you search for signs of your kingdom spouse.
If you do not repent and turn from this idol, I am getting ready to release husbands, according to the answer of this idol.
Daughters. My daughters love me again. Turn your heart to me, and away from your idols.
Follow me, not man. Worship Me! If you only prepared for me like you prepared for this man.
I am the only one who could ever satisfy the hunger and longing of your soul. Daughters, my daughters return to your first love.
Return to my presence, return to my altar. Walk away from the altar of kingdom marriage. It has become a foul stench in my nose, says the Lord. Offer up pure praise, holy, and acceptable to me, says the Lord.
Turn and repent daughters of the Lord.
3-Step Repentance Process:
For the Prophets:
Realize: It’s time to acknowledge that promoting marriages as divine guarantees can lead God's people into error.
Repent: Come back to God, asking for forgiveness where you've strayed or misled His people.
Refocus: Make sure your messages highlight God’s plans and His alone, steering clear of personal gains or misguidance. Also make sure your prophecies align with scripture.
For the Daughters of God:
Reflect: Think about whether your desire for a spouse has started to eclipse your relationship with God.
Repent: For obsessing over the idea of being married. If your heart’s been misplaced, ask for God’s forgiveness and for Him to realign your desires.
Renew: Shift your focus back to the Lord, making Him your priority. He’s the only one who can truly satisfy your soul.
Supportive Scriptures:
False Prophets and Selfish Ambitions: We’re warned about those who speak not from God’s heart but from personal motives, as seen in Jeremiah 23:16 and Ezekiel 13:6. They mislead with empty words, chasing their gain over God's glory.
The Danger of Misleading Others: God is clear—He stands against those who lead His children astray with lies and false dreams (Jeremiah 23:32, Matthew 24:11). He did not send them, and their words will not stand.
The Idolatry of Desires: It’s crucial we don’t make idols of our desires—be it for marriage or any other. Exodus 20:3 and Ezekiel 14:3 remind us that setting anything above God is a dangerous path that leads to spiritual stumbling.
Heartfelt Repentance and Renewal: The Lord calls us back to Him with open arms if we choose to repent (2 Chronicles 7:14, Revelation 2:4-5). Turning back to Him means rediscovering our first and truest love—our foundation in Christ.
Against Spiritual Manipulation: Ezekiel chapters 13:18-20 warn us about the severe consequences of manipulating others spiritually. These actions are akin to soul hunting—a grave offense in the eyes of God.
Urging True Worship and Godly Desires: Our desires should align with God’s will. Scriptures like Romans 12:1, John 4:24, and Matthew 6:33 call us to worship genuinely and prioritize seeking His kingdom above all else.
Conclusion:
Since releasing this word, the feedback’s been mixed—some shared how this opened their eyes, while others were not so pleased, leading to some unsubscribes and tough emails accusing me of "hating" the kingdom marriage movement because "God didn't give it to me."
If this message rubs you the wrong way, maybe it’s time to pause and reflect. Could it be the Holy Spirit nudging you to reassess what’s really important?
